Car Heaven
Do you have any old vehicles that should be recycled? Then call Car Heaven to arrange a pick up.
It is environmentally responsible, convenient, and economically beneficial – for you and Project Literacy!

Since 2000 Car Heaven has recycled over 125,000 vehicles raising more than $3,800,000 for Canadian charities.
Car Heaven arranges for the responsible retirement of older Canadian vehicles by certified ARC Auto Recyclers following the strict practices of the Canadian Automotive Recyclers Environmental Code (CAREC).  In addition, Car Heaven provides a means to generate financial support for affiliated charities.
Your car will be picked up for free and you will be eligible to receive a minimum $100 charitable tax receipt from Project Literacy Kelowna Society. Project Literacy in turn receives the gross proceeds of the sale of the vehicle to an accredited auto recycler participating in the program, less an administrative fee.
Your car is the largest and most recyclable product you own. No sorting required – the recyclers that work with Car Heaven will reuse and recycle 80% of your vehicle and will make sure the remaining materials are disposed of responsibly. Responsible recycling keeps cars out of landfills and hazardous materials from being released into our air, ground and water.
To participate in Car Heaven or for more information about the program, individuals can contact the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272 or visit www.carheaven.ca.
